But he managed to muster up a whole lot of guts
Hashem put him in this situation with no ifs ands or butts.
He showed the captain his precious stone
And promised to repay him in return for a loan.
The captain was willing to agree on a deal
He could tell that this clay digging man was for real
So he gave him a first class cabin overlooking the sea
Serving luxurious kosher foods like filet of sole and baked brie.
Every day on the boat the man got royally treated
And grew closer to the captain by whom he was greeted
They hung out a lot, mostly during meals
And the captain would talk about his current money deals
And every day without fail the clay digger repeated
Praise to his creator for the way he’s been treated
He repeatedly sang his ditty with a smile
He sang and he danced every day for a while
“I’m very lucky, my heart is soaring
My feet are dancing, my heart is pouring
Pouring out the praise of Hashem!
Thank you so much for the Gem!”
One day after eating with the captain as his guest
He was tired and needed to lay down for a rest
While the digger was sleeping the waiter shook out
