When the digger got up and realized what occurred
He was nervous at first, but then stopped being absurd.
He said “Hashem only does what is best for me
There is always a reason… you just wait and see!”
“I’m very lucky, my heart is soaring
My feet are dancing, my heart is pouring
Pouring out the praise of Hashem!
Thank you so much Hashem!”
He needed to think about how he would proceed
For if the captain found out he’d be finished indeed!
He played his ukulele as if nothing was wrong
And he smiled and danced and kept singing his song
He knew that Hashem only does what is best
And that his new situation was only a test
He danced and he sang more than ever before
Because if Hashem locks a window, He then opens a door!

There was no reason for the captain to think
That digger’s rare gem was gone in a blink
One night after he finished eating
The captain invited the digger for a secret meeting…
