Living in a Turkey World – Part 3

 

The next day, after playing a game of turkey tag, the wise man signaled a servant to throw down two pairs of pants. The wise man put on his pants. The turkey prince was perplexed. “What are you doing?” the confused turkey prince asked? “I’m putting on pants. Did you think that turkeys don’t wear pants? You can be a turkey and still wear pants.” The turkey prince shrugged and put on pants too.

 

The next day, right after their early morning crowing exercises, the wise man signaled a servant to bring down plates of the fanciest, healthiest, most delicious royal foods from the king’s table. The wise man started eating the royal food. The turkey prince was perplexed. “What are you doing?” the confused turkey prince asked? “I’m eating royal food. Did you think that turkeys don’t eat royal food? You can be a turkey and still eat royal food.” The turkey prince shrugged and started eating the royal food too.
