What happens if you are in a super-competitive environment where everyone is too busy looking out for themselves, and the boss has already chosen a protégé?

My wife used to manage over 100 people. She told me that the best thing a worker can do for the boss is to make their life easy. Ask little of them, do a lot, and sure enough they will love you. Someone else told me that to succeed at work you need a “Rabbi.” Not the Rabbi’s we know, but a mentor. Someone who likes you enough to want to teach you the trade, show you the ropes, and look out for you as you rise to prominence.

But what happens when you have the right attitude, work really hard, yet nobody wants to look out for you? What if you are in a super-competitive environment where everyone is too busy looking out for themselves, and the boss already chose their protégé?

That’s fine. We all have a Mentor. We all have a Boss. We all have a Rabbi Who is instructing us in everything at all times, the perfect personal-growth and spiritual guide.

Emuna is Hashem telling you what you need to do next.

It may be through pleasant lessons, or maybe through urgent messages, but it is all aimed at getting you great results. From His messages that you need to increase your prayer, spend more time with your family, develop a specific skill, or take a certain action, Emuna in Hashem is the best growth coach there is.

Speaking to, and listening to Hashem is the ultimate way to learn how to get ahead in every aspect of your life. If we listen to what He is telling us to do, we have it made! Our family, our career, our learning, every action we take moves us towards the ultimate advancement: Fulfillment of our mission in life. Every time we ask Hashem for help, and listen to what He is telling us, we move forward in the most important journey.

This is how I survived in Israel.

It all started with hitbodedut, personal prayer. I was in a rough place. I had no job, our money was almost gone, and I didn’t know what to do. So I went to a forest and talked to G-d. While talking to my Father, an idea popped into my head. It was very powerful. It was also very simple. Learn HTML, the basic language for designing web pages. So I did. Once I finished, I wanted to learn another web language, CSS. Then, in order to promote the pages I was making I learned online marketing. My entire career in hi-tech Israel began with a directive from my Father. It began with the lessons of Emuna: talking to, and listening to Ha Kadosh Baruch Hu.

Look at the results: Mobility, software development, and the internet of things make up a $6 trillion economy. By 2020 it will be $8 trillion, and throughout our generation it will rise to $15 trillion. Israel is at the heart of it. Every hi-tech company here is a part of this rapidly growing mega-industry and they all need native English speakers to promote, market, and sell their products! There are opportunities everywhere you look. Not only can you have a livelihood so your family can perform the mitzvah to dwell in the Land, you can have a career with constant upward mobility, tons of new opportunities, and the same dreams for success you’ve always had.

It begins with Emuna.

Watch how Hashem’s career advice opens up new worlds of personal advancement and fulfillment in your finances, your family, your Torah learning, your personal growth, and in achieving the things you want most in your life: accomplishing your mission and enjoying every moment in knowing you are working towards that end in every aspect of your life. Most of all, your relationship with He Who is your personal and eternal Rabbi, Coach, Spiritual Guide, Mentor, Father, and King, will flourish brilliantly.
