Nothing is stronger than thanking Hashem for our difficulties, because really, our difficulties are all gifts from Hashem to bring us closer to Him....

Everything Hashem does is for the very best. The rockets from Gaza are no exception. Each one has a miracle story behind it. So how should a person react when the Red Alert sirens go off? He should sing and dance, and thank Hashem. Is Hashem not a loving Father? Of course, He is! We must therefore thank Him for everything. Nothing is stronger than thanking Hashem for our difficulties, because really, our difficulties are all gifts from Hashem to bring us closer to Him.

A person told me that for many years he hadn't found his soul mate. All the years he cried over this, but nothing helped. One day he said “Master of the world, if You want me to be single, I also want this. I'm not going to cry anymore and won't complain. Thank You, Hashem”. Immediately, that very day, he found his soul mate.

Its important to point out that everything we've written here is not just a nice vort, or nice idea to talk about at the Shabbat table. We need to act on these words, to apply them to our daily lives. Anyone with a hardship who reads or hears this should first say "thank You" to Hashem for a half hour daily and subjugate his will to the will of Hashem before chasing rabbis and tzadikim while seeking their blessings. Through gratitude, we'll start to see miracles. This way, people will merit one salvation after another, until everyone will tell their miracle stories of giving thanks: "I said thank you and now I have children". "I said thank you and found my soul mate". "I said thank you and had monetary miracles", and so forth. This is a way to fulfill, “We will talk about all of your wonders”. Everyone will tell of their miracles. Everyone will strengthen others! Tell them to give thanks! “A man will help his friend and to his brother he'll say be strong”. As such, more and more people will join in the circle of thanksgiving, more and more will join in the circle of miracles, more and more will join in the circle of redemption.

In order to really live this, everyone must learn daily a page from the book The Garden of Gratitude. This book teaches a person about the art of giving thanks and internalizing gratitude. Everyone should listen to the CDs, “Stop Crying” and “Kisses to the Creator” over and over until he knows them by heart. Anyone that heeds me will have paradise in this world. Giving thanks is not just “a nice idea”. Its a way of life; if we really lived it, the redemption would already have come. This is a simple way for every person to get his personal redemption and the collective redemption. This is our purpose in this world, the purpose of emuna and the purpose of spiritual awareness!

When thanksgiving and the emuna that everything is for the best will spread to all of the nation of Israel, then surely the complete redemption will come immediately. Rebbe Nachman says so and his intent is obvious: “Know that the main reason for exile is only because of a lack of emuna”. Rabbenu says “only” which means this and only this. This is the only reason. There is nothing else that is delaying the redemption. When we merit the emuna that every thing is for the good – the exile will be nullified. Like Rebbe Natan says: “Certainly all of the hardships and all of the exiles would have been nullified completely and the complete redemption would have already come”. There is only one single reason for why we are collectively in exile and why each individual is still in his own exile. The reason is that we are lacking emuna. What is emuna? We need to go over this again and again and internalize it: Emuna is to believe that everything is for the good. Every Jew that strengthens himself in this belief brings our redemption closer.

My whole desire is that these words should be planted in the hearts of the reader and that he come to apply them in his daily life. Even if just one person in the whole world will merit to strengthen himself by reading these words and go around giving thanks and merit redemption because of this, then this is my reward. If these words don't affect anyone except me, this is also very good. I'll write to myself. In any case it doesn't bother me to go over this again and again. As long as there is exile, there is nothing to talk about. We need to work on the emuna that everything is for the good. We need to implant gratitude into our hearts, so that it will escort us all day long, every moment: There is no bad in the world. Thank You, our Father, for everything.

The time of your redemption has come. It's the time that the Jewish People realize this wonderful fact. We must not allow these written lines to leave us, to leave our minds. We need to engrave them on our hearts and to go over them every day. We need to print and copy and spread this discourse as much as possible. We need to wake up and make the work of giving thanks part of our lives, that it should be as instinctive as breathing.

This is our purpose.  The Jewish People were created just to praise and give thanks to Our Creator. As is written, “This nation that I formed for myself, they will tell of My praises”! The Book of Psalms ends with the verse: “Every soul will praise Hashem”. Why did King David  complete the Psalms with this verse? Because this is the purpose, that a person rise to the level of 'every soul will praise Hashem', that with every breath we'll praise Hashem, blessed be His Name, that praise and thanks will be our very nature. This is the true simple way to bring Moshiach and the complete redemption speedily in our days, amen.
