Run for your life! Iris, kol hakavod to you for writing in and asking for advice. You are obviously a thinking and reflective person. May HaShem bless you further! Out of love and respect for you as a fellow Jew – I must say that this man is without any doubt not telling you the truth. There is no chance that a man with an ounce of fear of G-d would ever pressure a woman into a physical relationship prior to marriage. "Waiting for marriage" is an ABSOLUTE halachic obligation – the opposite carries the punishment of kares (being cut out from the Jewish people G-d forbid). HaShem loves you and he does not want you to destroy your life in this world and the next. Trust HaShem to send you a guy who will really love and respect you. Not someone who will only use you and throw you away to move on to next one. I and many of my friends became religious as adults and married BTs. Not a single one of us ever even touched nor were in yichd with our respective husbands before the wedding. I hope this encourages you. I sincerely hope you choose HaShem and merit to find the right one soon. All the best.
