The popular chant “From the river to the sea…” is actually close to prophetic.
In Bereishit 15:18, Hashem makes a covenant with Avraham, promising to give his descendants the land between the Euphrates river and the Nile river (off the Mediterranean sea).
I would add a second stanza to David’s lyrics:
From the River to the Sea
Hashem natan ha’aretz li (God gave the Land to me)!
From the River to the Sea
Eretz Yisrael Yehudi (Eretz Yisrael is Jewish land)
