Amos 5:18 Amos 5:18 "Woe to those who desire the day of the Lord. Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light." Isn't Reb Nachman's description of The Geula quite unlike Ovadia's? Where is Edom today? Doesn't Moshiach come from Edom? Aren't you really more interested in the culture of Edom being destroyed, rather than its people? Don't Jews live in today's Edom? Are these Jews somehow not as Holy? If you seek the destruction of a people, are you ready to be a Yonah?
