other cures for anxiety Great article — thanks for sharing, and may you both have a refua shleima (if you haven't already!). A few years ago (before learning about Rebbe Nachman) I suffered greatly from anxiety, including panic attacks. What helped an enormous amount then was acupuncture, believe it or not. The pressure points can also be stimulated manually. It was remarkable how effective acupuncture was for anxiety. Also, I believe that quiet meditation (in addition of course to verbal hitbodedut) can be a very important method of healing anxiety, because it gives the mind a chance to calm down, to an extent that the calmness can spread throughout your day. Surprisingly, there is quite a bit of material in Breslever works about this type of meditation. For example, the recently-published book The Tree That Stands Beyond Space: Rebbe Nachman of Breslov on the Mystical Experience by Dovid Sears is a really wonderful work with (among other things) lengthy passages by Rebbe Nachman and Reb Noson discussing the importance of silent meditation. R' Ozer Bergman's book on hitbodedut (Where Earth and Heaven Kiss) also has a chapter on it. I'll be interested to see if any of Rav Arush's books discuss this aspect of hitbodedut.
