Also, very much agree with Mangabey's comments. And I'm sorry for whatever you, Yehudit, endured so young that incited you to feel better via such methods. Your determination to take responsibility for your actions is incredible. Previously, I mentioned how unusual it is to apologize for behavior from 3rd/4th grade. Actually, adults rarely scrutinize themselves & look for Hashem's messages as you did, decide an apology is necessary…& actually DO it. May H' wipe your slate clean!

Yehudit, this is one of the most moving & inspiring essays on forgiveness I've ever come across. Usually, we just hear from the victims (or those who perceive themselves as victims) of bullying. You're very brave to write this and it's so unusual for anyone to think they need to apologize for their behavior at age 8. It's inspiring to see what a good & special person you've become. Please also know that a sincere apology is often healing for the one you've hurt.

…to track down those you offended such a long time ago. I hope Lisa finds it in her heart to forgive you. Yes, it's very painful to be mocked. But ultimately, even that too came from Hashem. Part of the Breslov hashkafa is that we have to be mevater our 'tormentors' (I'm not saying this is easy at all!). May you all live in peace, tranquility and closeness to HKBH.
