feeding cats Did you ever consider that the fact that your daughters were feeding the cats is a mitzvah not to let animals go hungry? However cats differ in Israel, the fact is they are G-d's creatures and they scrounge for food, and many die, from hunger or from kill shelters. Yet you determined that the lesson posed by feeding the cats is to say no to a mitzvah. Odd.
