Re: The Role of the Gentile I don’t like how your comment says that the gentile was simply made for the sake of the Jew. It’s unduly demeaning of the gentile, in my opinion. Every aspect of creation is an end in itself, not just a means. Also, the gentiles have the Noahide mitzvot, meaning that not just the Jew but also the gentile is supposed to have a relationship with HaShem.

The role of the Gentile It is important to realize that everything in creation was made for the Jewish people. Everything is made to facilitate the Jewish people’s observance of the mitzvahs. Like for example, chicken or fish are there for the Jewish poeple to eat and strengthen themselves for obedience to Mitzva, so are fruit and vegetables etc.. The gentiles in essence were also created for the Jewish people. The role of the gentiles is to make the world liveable for the Jews so they can obey the mitzvahs.
