Hi,
I’m happy to correct an error, but since this came from elsewhere, I’m a bit hesitant to make changes.

Can you point me to where you found that in Likutei Amarim (best to send a URL)?

THANKS!!!

Correction: The quote is from chapter 10 of Likutei Amarim, not chapter 11

The article quoted the Chofetz Chaim who said that the tefillah should be done specifically in one's home.

very illuminating problem is there’s not many places to go in solitude today. especially in israel, if one goes out in a solitary place, people who see him will suspect he’s doing bad things. anyone know of a good place to go in solitude in nature for jerusalem area?

Why cry if ein yeiush baolam klal? I thought the optimum type of prayer is when one prays with joy, acknowledging the fact that even if things may SEEM to be not so great, in reality they are totally perfect because EVERYTHING is from Hashem and everything Hashem does is perfect, for a reason and for the best. The article says, “A serious prayer must be accompanied by tears, otherwise your heart is not really there.” But I’m not the type to cry- I want to sing! Explanation please?
