Bullish on MBD 

I have a great inside stock tip for you. The stock markets have been screaming this ticker symbol: It’s called MBD. 

Not to be confused with tech flier MDB (MongoDB), I am talking about the real deal. After 2,000 years, the world of finance has finally caught up to words of our Sages about the days we are living in right now.   

In the times of the approach of the Messiah, impudence will increase and high costs will pile up. (Talmud, Sotah 49b) 

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world printed $13 trillion in new money. In just 20 months, the total money in circulation doubled.  

Inflation has begun, but rather tepidly. Banks still have kept over $3 trillion of that money on the financial sidelines in their vaults. For now, only financial assets like stocks and real estate are soaring high. However, supply chain breaks, price increases for goods, and a labor shortage are gradually pulling prices for everything upward.  Slowly, high costs are beginning to pile up.  

Add in another potential $1 trillion injection from the American Fed and trillions more from new U.S. legislation and the pile will get bigger in the coming months.   

The Mashiach will not come until the peruta (money) will cease from the purse. (Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a) 

 The investment of 2021 is Bitcoin. In just a decade this cashless currency went from a value of $1 to $100,000. Already, over 98% of cash transactions don’t involve cash. Normalizing a universal digital currency could replace the remaining 2%, completing the transformation into a digital world.

CEOs, political leaders, and movie stars now want to get their salaries in Bitcoin. There is a city that wants all of its transactions to be in Bitcoin.  The world is going completely cashless.   

Although the vine shall bring forth its fruit, wine will nevertheless be expensive. (Talmud, Sotah 49b) 

After doubling in value over the last five years, financial markets are beginning to show signs of stress. Some say we are headed towards a 2008-like bear market or a 2001-like setback. Recessions in 2002-2003 and 2008-2011 resulted in the rich, who hold the majority of money in the world, buying hard assets like gold, jewelry, art, antiques, even fine wines. Collectors all over the world can be bidding up the price of wine everywhere, even as grapes are plentiful.  

According to our Sages, before the coming of Mashiach, the world will become much smaller.  

The earth is the same 40,075 kilometers wide today as it was thousands of years ago. The world can only become smaller when we can travel large distances in less time. Being able to see someone, speak to someone, and even do things with someone on the other side of the world in real time makes the earth seem like the size of a table.  

On a Facebook group, you can have a live conversation with people from Japan, Brazil, Norway, and South Africa, all hosted by a server from Prineville, Oregon. Facebook recently changed their name to Metaverse, signaling a shift from semi-immersion in screens to total immersion using virtual reality glasses to plant you into their world.  You will be able to simulate a room or coffee house where you talk directly to people from the four corners of the earth. You will see them, hear them, and make changes in “reality” with them.   

When Mashiach will speak, the entire world will be able to hear him all at once.  

Right now, anyone of us can speak into a Smartphone and say something that will go to a YouTube Live page that can be heard by over 6 billion people who also have Smartphones.  

Mashiach will come when the nations of the world are all fighting one another.  

Markets are getting a little antsy after China disclosed to the world their newest hyper-sonic missile, capable of traversing the world in minutes. Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and the United States are on alert if China uses their new qualitative military advantage to attack Taiwan.  

Russia is salivating over restoring the Ukraine to their fold. Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, was the first capital of Russia. They want it back.  

Iran is ready to complete their takeover of Syria and Lebanon.  We in Israel may be drawn into a war alongside our new Arab allies to fight Iran if they develop nuclear weapons.   

The War of Gog and Magog will last a matter of minutes.  

While this does not necessarily have to happen if we, bezrat Hashem, make teshuva, according to the Chofetz Chaim, the last war will take minutes.  

Just fifty years ago, all of this was a mystery. We could only explain it in supernatural terms. Today it is everyday reality.  

• Bitcoin was invented just over a decade ago.  
• Social media a few years before that.  
• This year, China developed the ability to fire a nuclear device from Shanghai that can detonate in San Francisco in thirty minutes.  

Rabbi Lazer Brody tells us that the closer we get to Mashiach, the clearer the truth will become. That is why I am going long MBD!
