There's such an emphasis on committing to 30 minutes of hitbodedut for Am Yisrael that one might think that it's "all or nothing" – if one cannot do 30 minutes daily, he's out of the game. Not so!

 

As the article points out, do whatever you can do! Every single mitzvah helps.

 

If your schedule is demanding and unrelenting, do the few minutes of hitbodedut that you can do. Before you do any of your myriad routine tasks of the day, say "This is for the zechut (benefit) of each Jew in Am Yisrael to do complete teshuva, especially bein adam l'chavero". That sentence took me 8 seconds.

 

If you say that sentence before you make a meal (chessed), diaper a baby (chessed), do grocery shopping (more chessed), prepare for a business meeting (honesty in business) – I'm sure you'll hit the 30-minute mark each day. And you're supercharging your mitzvot!
