An American visitor is walking along the streets of Jerusalem and stops an Israeli to ask about the time. The Israeli replies that he has no watch and doesn’t know the time. The American asks: “How is it possible not to have a watch? How do you know what time it is?” The Israeli replies: “That’s simple. If I want to know what time it is, I stop a passerby and ask him what time it is.” The American replies: “That may all be very well during the day, but what about at night?” The Israeli replies: “I blow my Shofar”. The American replies: “You blow your Shofar?” “Yes, I blow my Shofar, and somebody opens a window and yells at me ‘Idiot, it is three o’clock in the morning and you are blowing your Shofar'”…
