Did the heated argument between the House of Shammai and the House of Hillel cause a rift in their personal relationship? The Talmud tells us not, for despite the fact that Beit Shammai argued with Beit Hillel, they still married amongst one another. This teaches us that they acted with friendship and love to one another.
