The Good Pain

Demonstrating at a rally for the holiness of Jerusalem, it looked like a classic David vs Goliath matchup. On our side were a hundred protestors. About 300 yards away over 20,000 gay and lesbian activists crowded one of Jerusalem's largest parks to demonstrate for their right to defilement.

I could hear the music from where I was. At our protest there were more journalists than demonstrators. They circled like sharks. They weren't interested in a group of concerned citizens exercising their right to assembly. They didn't seem to care that this was in defense of basic standards of human dignity that existed here for thousands of years.

They just wanted to get their "extremism" on film. To them we are safer than ISIS.

To those with the cameras, the activists for homosexuality are progressive. There will be no articles about the way they dressed to their demonstration, the lewd behaviors that took place, or how what they stood for was perceived by the general populace of Jerusalem as a whole. Nobody bothered to stand in Zion Square and ask 20 random people what they thought about 20,000 people protesting for this in their own backyard.

It's not considered newsworthy. All that mattered was just one person at our protest getting too upset and doing or saying something that went too far.

Good. This is the good pain of today's world.

At the End of Days, the world will be upside down. The tests of emuna will be extreme as the advocates of everything despicable in this world will be given all the fame, fortune, and fierceness to spread their message. One of the clear signs that Moshiach is imminent will be when the voice of righteousness is drowned out, censored, or even prosecuted.

As a result, the average person will see the way of evil as the new normal. Any mention of holiness will be met with irritation or even scorn.

It's enough to make any good person incensed at everything. But this is good news.

Thirty years ago adultery was seen as deviant behavior. Twenty five years ago a pregnancy out of wedlock was real shame on the unmarried couple. Ten years ago homosexuality was still unacceptable.

There is no natural way to explain how so much has changed so fast. In the five thousand year history of civilization, never has this much changed this quickly.

All you see in Facebook, on TV, and in the newspaper are tests of emuna Hashem has engineered for us. It is clear and uncontested evidence that we are at the End of Days, the Satan is in his death throes, and Hashem is deliberately making it harder to see Him because we are moments away from His great Salvation, Redemption, and Revelation to all mankind.

The next time you read about the worst outcome imaginable being paraded about as the next step in a progressive world, don't be outraged. Thank Hashem for the reminder that we are closer than ever.

The faint sounds of the shofar are getting louder.
