The Boastful Buck – Part 9

"Beware, young stag"

Zachary offers advice,

"Before you race me

You had better think twice.

A race is as binding

As a life or death fight

The loser is exiled

Forever banished from sight.

So consider once more

Young boasting buck

So a moment of arrogance

Won’t ruin your luck.

Show off your antlers

In some other zone

Please go away from our forest

And leave us alone.

“Before you race me, you had better think twice…”

To be continued.

Tell us what you think!
