"Ohuuuuuu!" Here they are!
That’s the call of the buck
Let’s make no noise
Because we’re in luck
Here at the spring
It’s time for drinking
By watching the deer
It gets us thinking
For the whole clan waits
Every mother, son, and daughter
Until Zachary says a prayer
And thanks God for the water.
Then in perfect order
Without a push or a shove
All the deer drink
In brotherly love.
First the fawns then the does
Then the young stags
Then the humble clan leader
Who never brags.
