In order to vanquish the ‘klipa,’ shell, or impure forces, which surround each spiritual level, we have to come to the joy of a Mitzvah, which means we should rejoice that we have the opportunity to become close to God and His Tzaddikim, who help him draw close to God, and this joy helps us break the shell and rise to the new level.
