In the days of the Messiah, G-d will slaughter the Evil Inclination before the righteous and the wicked. The Evil Inclination will appear to the righteous as a high mountain, and to the wicked as a thread the width of a hair’s breadth. The righteous will weep and say: “How were we able to overcome a high mountain like this?” The wicked will weep and say: “How is it that we couldn’t overcome a hair’s breadth like this?” And also G-d will be astonished with them. (Rebbe Yehuda Elloy).
