Want to feel heaven in every bite? This recipe is for you! This recipe has the most successful combination: cheese and chocolate. AWESOME for Shavuot!
I like a combination of cheese and chocolate, and for weeks I have prepared for you a recipe for amazing cheese chocolate squares.
Heaven in every bite!
INGREDIENTS:
(Recipe is for a 20X20 cm2 pan)
For chocolate brownies:
200 grams of dark chocolate
1 cup (200 g) white sugar
½ cup yogurt (any yogurt over 3%)
120 g butter
3 eggs, size L
¾ cup (105 g) white flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
For the cheese batter:
250 grams of cream cheese (5% possible and more)
½ cup (100 g) powdered sugar
1 egg, size L
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or puree
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees and line a pan with baking paper at the bottom and edges.
2. In a large heatproof bowl, melt in the microwave in short pulses butter, dark chocolate, sugar and yogurt, until everything is melted. Mix well to a uniform batter. Cool slightly.
3. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix all the cheese batter ingredients well until smooth.
4. When the chocolate batter has cooled slightly, add eggs, and then stir well.
5. To the chocolate batter, add flour and baking powder. Mix again to a uniform batter.
6. Transfer the chocolate batter to a pan, and pour the cheese batter over it. Using a knife, stir a little for “marble” movements.
7. Bake in the oven at medium temperature for about 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out with moist crumbs on it.
Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Can store in the refrigerator for up to five days.
