You need to learn how to listen to your wife!
This takes work! What is a real connection entail?
Real connection comes from speech. That she speaks to you, and you really listen and pay attention to her. That you connect to each other.
You need to learn how to say words of respect and honor, words that encourage and make her happy.
A person’s income comes from the light of a wife’s soul. If the wife is happy, then she has light. Then, there is a lot of money. Honor your wife! You will become wealthy.
But if, G–d forbid, the wife is sad, then her light is constricted and then there is no income.
It takes work. This is the work – a person needs to work on himself.
He needs to make time to be with the Creator and to say to Him, “Creator of the Universe, give me strength. Help me to honor my wife. Help me to make her happy, give me the strength… “
I wrote the book The Garden of Peace. Every man must learn it in depth, and if you internalize and do what is written there, then you are guaranteed to have shalom bayit (a peaceful home).
