Immodest Woman
Do you remember Lenny Kravitz singing Guess Who's hit, "American Woman'? Here's the song again, after having been koshered by Racheli Reckles...
I’m having way too much fun creating my own lyrics to famous songs. Who knew I was so talented? Here’s another one for the Shovevim period, courtesy of The Guess Who’s “American Woman.” No, Lenny Kravitz did not write that song… but he did sing it pretty awesomely! Is that a word? Never mind.
Immodest woman gonna mess your mind
Immodest woman gonna mess your mind
This line repeats itself like 12 more times
So I ain’t gonna write it no more
Immodest woman, stay away from me
Immodest woman, mama let me be
Don’t come a-hangin’ ‘round my door
I don’t wanna see your face no more
I got more important things to do
Than spend my time starin’ at you
Now woman, I said stay away
Immodest woman, listen what I say
Immodest woman, stay away from me
Immodest woman, mama let me be
Don’t come knockin’ ‘round my door
I don’t wanna see your figure no more
Your tight clothes can hypnotize
Go sparkle someone else’s eyes
Now woman, I said get away
Immodest woman, listen what I say
I don’t need your skin-tight jeans
Why you tryin’ to look like you’re 18
Your high heels can hypnotize
Go sparkle someone else’s eyes
Now woman, get away from me
Immodest woman, mama let me be
Go, gotta get away, gotta get away
Now go, go, go
I ain’t gonna look at you, woman
Ain’t gonna look at you, woman
Bye-bye
Bye-bye
You’re no good for me
I’m too good for you
Gonna close my eyes
Tell you what I’m gonna do
You know I’m gonna go, woman
You know I’m gonna leave ya, woman
Goodbye, immodest woman

Ah the Memories
since seeing this on the home page 5 hours ago, I have a debate raging in my head whether the Lenny Kravitz version or the Lenny Kravitz prince version is better. (obviously prince but, but, but.. [enter excuse]) none the less I feel that leaving it all behind was worth it despite the nostalgic longing I get from time to time.
