From Crisis to Connection-Case Studies in Mental Health

Case Studies in Mental Health

Tzivy’s panic attack was so severe that EMTs had to be called — in the middle of a shidduch date… Shira refuses to care for her newborn, lest she harm the infant… Befriending the drinking crowd was Naftali’s solution to his fear of ridicule…

From Crisis to Connection presents case studies of individuals who came face-to-face with their very real, very distressing and even debilitating mental disorders.

Under the care of Dr. David Rosmarin and his clinical team, these clients discover that, while no one is perfect, they can reclaim faith in themselves and live a more connected life.

David H. Rosmarin, PhD, is an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, and Director of the McLean Hospital Spirituality & Mental Health Program. He is also the Founder of the Center for Anxiety, which provides services to more than 1,000 patients  a year. Dr. Rosmarin’s clinical work and research have been featured in Scientific American, the Boston Globe, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and, of course, Hamodia’s Inyan Magazine. He lives in Boston with his wife Miri and their six children.
