Both the King's son and the Emperor's daughter were love sick for each other. The King wanted to complete the match between them, but the Emperor refused. The son and daughter ran away together and sailed to a far-off land. She removed her ring (emuna) and they both became lost in the forest. See all parts of The King and the Emperor.
