In parshat Chukat we are taught how to make the way to Eretz Yisrael. One of the Kings who stood in our way toward entering the Holy Land was Sichon, the King of Cheshbon (Calculations). As Rav Kook famously explained to people who were contemplating aliyah - in order to make it back home, one needs to wage a certain type of war. A war against all the calculations that attempt to logically tell you “no”.
