The era infamously known as Tach V’Tat (which are the Hebrew letters representing the numbers 408 and 409, which correspond to the years 1648 and 1649 on the non-Jewish calendar) was one of the darkest periods in Jewish history. Groups of ruthless Cossacks went on a rampage and destroyed many flourishing communities. Tens of thousands of Yidden were killed al Kiddush Hashem (sanctifying Hashem’s Name) and hundreds of Jewish town were completely wiped off the map. Our story is set in these turbulent times. A close-knit family from Tolchin is torn apart by the horrifying events. In the midst of a pogrom, they are separated from each other, with fear and worry as their only companions. These courageous heroes remain loyal to Hashem and the Torah throughout their dramatic journey. The winds of battle threaten to overtake them, but they do not give up. Will they succeed?
