Rabbi Yisrael Abuchatzeira (Baba Sali)

Rabbi Yisrael Abuchatzeirah, known as the “Baba Sali”, performed miracles and wonders that were above nature!

This year, the yahrtzeit (date of passing) of the Baba Sali, zt”l is on Thursday,  January 22, 2026.

Now, more than ever, the People of Yisrael all around the globe need miracles! The Gemara teaches that a tzaddik is more powerful after his passing from this world! Even if this year you cannot come to his grave site in Netivot, Israel, you can still light a candle in his memory, give some charity in his merit, and request help for yourself and your loved ones. Don’t just ask for the physical things that you need, like a good income, healing, soulmate, or children, etc. Ask for spirituality – for example, ask for gifts of emuna or the gift of personal holiness (especially during these weeks of Shovevim)! 

You have the huge merit to strengthen the People of Yisrael during these times! Send in the names (first and middle name and mother’s first and middle name) of those who need salvation. Rabbi Arush will bring your names to the holy grave site of the Baba Sali in Netivot for the tzaddik’s blessing.
