I think it’s important to view America’s recent 180-switch on Israel in wider perspective. What happened to us when our closest ally threw us under the bus can happen to Jews in every other host country.
As Rabbi Tovia Singer often reminds us – Hashem has a covenant only with Am Yisrael-Eretz Yisrael. He does not have a covenant with the other nations.

The picture of a lighthouse says it all – a single beacon of light standing alone against crashing waves and foamy seas. Its light shines brightly nonetheless.
