What Really Happened in Iran

Don’t let the media rob you of what really happened. The Twelve-Day War with Iran was a Divine miracle. Four thousand times we flew into enemy territory that was more than 1,500 miles away - and didn’t suffer a single military casualty.

Many of us lament the “absence” of modern-day miracles. They happened in ancient times, but not today. Thousands of years ago, Hashem ended our slavery in Egypt by smiting the most powerful empire on earth ten times until they let us go. He split the Yam Suf (Red Sea) and drowned the strongest army in the world.

Right before we entered Israel, Hashem commanded us to fight Midian. We won and didn’t suffer a single casualty.

For over 3,300 years, there has never been a supernatural “perfect” war in which one side didn’t lose a single soldier.

Until today.

Open Miracles

In 1967, we fought six days against the Arabs. We suffered 777 losses.

The Six-Day War was such a miracle that even Yitzchak Rabin, the secular Chief of Staff who led the charge, referred to it as the Six-Day War, comparing our victory in this war as miraculous as Hashem creating the world in six days.

In the Twelve-Day War, Iran had more powerful weapons with sophisticated tracking technology to guide them, as well as state-of-the-art attack drones. Logically, one would think that Israel would suffer tremendous losses. Miraculously, like Moshe against the Midianites, we didn’t lose a single soldier Not since Moshe himself led us, have we fought a war and not suffered a single fallen fighter.

Hashem is blessing His nation with open miracles.

The fact that Iran did not coordinate its attack with Hamas, Hezbollah, Arabs in Judea and Shomron, and the Houthis in Yemen on October 7 is another miracle. For the first seven hours of the Milchemet Simchat Torah (Simchat Torah War), the enemy took us by surprise. Our military forces were in disarray. Had our enemies all attacked together instead of one at a time, they could have leveled half the country.

Ever since Simchat Torah, God has been blessing us with open miracles of the same magnitude that He showed us during our 40 years in the desert.

Don’t Let the Media Bury the Truth

The mainstream media is busy talking about hungry Gazans, an aggressive IDF, and recognition of the  “State of Palestine” by France and other European nations.

Don’t let them bury the truth.

When we fought against the Midianites, Hashem commanded us to destroy them. We killed every man – military and civilian.  Moshe commanded our army to kill every woman capable of having relations with a man. Like Sichon and Og, our enemies were completely wiped out.

Don’t let the media water down our obligation to eradicate evil. Never flinch when they try to brainwash you into appeasing evil. As we saw throughout the 1930s in Germany and during the past two decades in Gaza, anything less than total annihilation of evil results in the total annihilation of good.

When we fight for what Hashem wants in His world, like then and like now, He blesses us with miracles.

Don’t let the media silence God. Don’t let them delude you into not believing that Hashem will move heaven and earth for His people.

What Do We Do from Here?

God’s world is for God’s children.

In 1948, we thought Torah Jewry was finished. 88% of Israel was secular. We thought Judaism was a relic of an ancient world soon to be forgotten. Despite the massive momentum of secularism and modernity, and the near helplessness of Torah Jewry, Hashem blessed His people with the greatest miracle ever.

He revived the dead by growing the number of Torah Jews in the Land of Israel from 70,000 in 1948 to over 3 million today. What was written off as a marginalized people soon to be extinct will soon become the majority of people living in the Land of Israel.

God is blessing us with miracles every day.

Never be afraid to do His will, even in the face of patronizing elitists who think they are the new gods of this world.  They aren’t.

God wants His chosen people to come closer to Him by sprouting a people in His land that will make our home a dwelling place for His presence.

There will be more miracles.  Keep watching for them!

You’re right on the mark!

Such open miracles… and it seems to me that the miracles are getting bigger and bigger.
