Little Nachman – Part 21

With renewed hope, the little boy ran home. Nachman and Shimon continued praying. They asked Hashem to cure the little boy’s mother. They begged Hashem for a miracle, "Please, Hashem," they prayed, "let the little boy’s sadness become happiness and his mother’s illness become good health!"

The next day, as they were walking in the park, the little boy ran toward them. Excited, he had outstretched arms and a big smile on his face. "My mother," he called out to them, "she got up from her bed! She feels so much better, and happy too! You two are my best friends. I know that you’re tzaddikim and that Hashem hears your prayers. You gave me hope. You helped me believe in Hashem. Thanks to you, I’ve decided to ask Hashem for every little thing. I’ll try to remember that with Hashem to turn to, there’s no need for sadness. There’s always hope! You have proven to me that Hashem listens to our prayers, especially to the prayers of young children. Who could believe that my mother would get well so fast?"

Nachman and Shimon smiled at each other. They knew that Hashem always helps.

Excited, he had outstretched arms and a big smile on his face.

To be continued, G-d willing.
