Little Nachman Part 15

Nachman and Shimon swept the floor, washed the dishes, and straightened up the house. Everything was clean and orderly.

 

Shimon’s mother got out of bed and saw the two boys so happily cleaning the house. "How beautiful!" she exclaimed with joy. "Hashem, thank You for giving me such a wonderful son! And thank you for giving him such a loyal and upright friend to do mitzvot with." Her heart filled with happiness, so she blessed the two boys and said, "I bless you both that Hashem should make you as happy as you both have made me, and that Hashem help you grow up to be tremendous tzaddikim!"

 

Nachman and Shimon responded immediately and said, "Amen!"

 

Little Nachman was so happy that Hashem enabled him to do such a big mitzvah as helping his friend relieve the strain of his sick mother. "Thank You, Hashem," he said, "for giving me the opportunity to do wonderful mitzvot. Please help me do more and more mitzvot always, and to help others in need.”
