Little Nachman – Part 12

Before they could reach him, the little boy had arrived home and his mother came out to greet him.

"What happened, my son? Why are you crying?"

"I lost the money, mama. I can’t find it anywhere," he sniffled.

Suddenly, at the front gate leading to the house, came running the two young tzaddikim, eager to fulfill the mitzvah of returning something that was lost. "We found your lost money!" they called, waving the pouch with the small coins.

"What wonderful boys!" exclaimed the mother. "Thank you so much! I wish that all the children of the Jewish people should be like you two."

Nachman and Shimon thanked Hashem for enabling them to perform the important mitzvah of returning a lost object to its owners. Even more, they were happy to see with their own eyes how Hashem listens to their prayers and answers their requests.

"We found your lost money!" they called, waving the pouch with the small coins.

To be continued, G-d willing.
