(1530 – 1572) Otherwise known as The Rama; in his short but incredibly productive life, Rabbi Moshe put an indelible stamp on the world of Torah scholarship. His Mapa, Tablecloth, representing the Ashkenazi Torah world, integrated with the Shulchan Aruch, and enabled it to represent the entire Jewish Torah spectrum.
